Shop my living room
Finally.. A room in my house that has been finished! Well, almost, I do have one wall light that needs putting up, but I’m patiently waiting for West Elm to deliver it.
Coffee Table
My coffee table was the first piece of furniture I bought for the room, I stumbled across another Instagrammer who had a console table in the same style so had to find it. Turns out they’re available from Ebay, and I was really pleased with my purchase too. I bought the Florence Coffee Table in the colour ‘Truffle’ but sadly it clashed with my sofa so I sanded it down and painted it white, it looks great! I have changed the handles also because I felt fancy.
TV Unit
My TV matches my coffee table so you can also find this on Ebay under Florence TV Unit, it was a little large for my space but I didn’t want to give up on it, my friends husband somehow chopped it in half and turned it into a one draw unit rather than two!
Shelves
Big thank you to all the lovely people who reached out about my shelving unit! I found it on Etsy and the maker made me one bespoke to fit the space, you can order your own here.
Bench
My bench was made by my wonderful brother in law when I text him in a panic telling him I needed something small to fill the space! He doesn’t have a shop, but if you ever want a piece like this, just message him and my sister over on Gardeners Cottage Norfolk.
Cushions
My pink cushions are the Amalie Ruffle Cushions from Fawn and Fable, they stock them i pink, grey and sage.
My sheep cushion is from Next but no longer stocked, John Lewis sell a similar cushion which you can find here.
Wall Prints
The gallery above my sofa can all be found in the Studio Collection on the Desenio website. The gold frames are also from Desenio.
Lights
It took me a looong time to find wall lights I really liked. I didn’t hate the ones that were already here but 1) I didn’t love them either and 2) I added an extra wall light and didn’t know where the originals were from, I want them to match!
I ended up choosing the Arc Mid-Century Sconce from West Elm in the Brass colour. I absolutely LOVE them, even if I did place them a little too close to the ceiling…
Sofa
My sofa was definitely worth the wait! I went for the Bluebell Chaise from sofa.com in smart cotton, the colour is Eucalyptus! I really struggled to find a sofa to fit the space of my living room and this one nestles in very nicely.
Log Baskets
Unfortunately I haven’t a clue where my log baskets are from, I inherited them with the house,. However, I have found some similar ones over on John Lewis, a round. grey wicker basket and a rectangular, modern country wicker basket.
Coffee Table Books
I wanted to keep my coffee table books in keeping with the colour scheme of the rest of the room so naturally I went for one white and one pink. I opted for ‘Palm Beach‘ in the Assouline collection, it is full of so many dreamy photos that I can flick through when it’s rainy outside. The second one I bought was ‘For the Love of White‘ by Chrissie Rucker, sold by The White Company, this is all about white and minimalist interiors for your home.
Paint
The main colour of the living room is ‘slaked lime‘ by Little Greene Paint Company and the wall behind the sofa is ‘chemise‘, both are the intelligent matt emulsion.
