Stay in Australia’s Very Own Italian Village
When you think of Australia you might conjure up images of white sand beaches fringed with turquoise waters, rainforests, desert, and of course, some of the world’s most well-loved fluffy animals. But 40 minutes outside of Sydney, travellers can enjoy a (somewhat) authentic Italian village.
Guestlands is an Italian themed B&B, built in the style of a medieval Italian village. Four dusky pink and beige villas are set alongside a Trattoria (an Italian style eatery) and the Bellagio Bar, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan-style gardens.
Communal gatherings are held each night in the Trattoria where guests can experience an Italian Happy Hour, it really has been built to transport you to the Italian countryside without the need for grabbing your passport and taking a flight for hours on end.
Antipasto picnics can be taken in the gardens or on one of the private balconies, lazy dips in the pool are a must, and quiet walks through rose covered archways are all readily available for guests to experience.
The villas were completed in just under four years, opening in late 2020. The owners, Pete and Jen are as delightful as the surroundings, always available to help, they live in their own beautiful property next door.
The rooms are all individual and benefit from different features such as free-standing baths, private courtyards and lounge rooms. Sunsets with a glass of wine in hand are a must, you really will spend your time here carefree and feeling a million miles from it all!
Prices start at AUD $640 per night (£355 GBP)
